China International Battery Fair-2012

China International Battery Fair-2012 which was organized in Shenzhen in (China) has come to an end. This tenth Chinese International Battery Fair was organized on 20^th, 21^st and 22^nd June, 2012. In this battery fair except Storage batteries, there were big, medium and small stalls of Lithium-battery, Lion-battery and LIP-battery etc. This time China PV-2012 and China International Solar Photovoltaic Industry also joined China International Battery Fair 2012. The venue of the fair was:- Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center, Fuhua 3rd Road, Futian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, (China).

This International Battery fair was at first organized in Tianjin in 1992. At that time there were 56 big exhibitors and 75 stalls. After three years, this battery fair was organized in Beijing in 1995. After that in 1997, 1999, 2001, 2004 & 2006, the fair was organized in Beijing. In the year 2008 the fair was organized in Tianjin and in 2010 was organized in Shenzhen. In the Battery fair of 2010 the number of exhibitors exceeded from 56 (of the beginning year) to 670 and the number of stalls 75 (of the beginning year) to 1455 in 2010. After two years this battery fair was again organized in Shenzhen in 2012 on 20^th, 21^st and 22^nd June.

This International Battery Fair put a great influence on China and whole world. Battery fairs have now become a place of discussion and a medium to place own products and services before the market.

This International Battery fair was supported by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, Tianjin Institute of Power Sources, etc.

China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS) which was established in 1989, is a biggest Professional Battery Association. It has 6 branches.

4. Solar Energy Photovoltaic
5. Alkaline Battery and new kind of Chemical Power Sources
6. Accessories and equipments branch for batteries.

There are more than 360 members of CIAPS who are attached with the development progress and manufacturing of these batteries. CIAPS has cordial relations with the big Companies, Associations and Societies of the world.
